Reiki Aftercare

Your healing begins before your first session and continues in the following days and weeks. Your body is going through a healing process where energy is released physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. You may have welcome, unpleasant, or no symptoms at all. There is no right or wrong reaction.

It's important to drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released during the session. You could experience lightheadedness or slight disorientation, be sure to ground yourself and eat something light. Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, alcohol, and added sugars.

I recommend that you practice self-care, rest as needed, and stay hydrated. Meditation, gentle exercise, and journaling are just some of the ways that you can continue the healing process. Overall, Reiki aftercare aims to support the body's natural healing abilities and promote a sense of well-being.
